Chloe Yale Pinto

Dr Chloe Yale Pinto is an Assistant Professor in English Literature and Creative Writing at Northeastern University London. Chloe completed her PhD in English (Criticism and Culture) at the University of Cambridge and was recently awarded the first Visiting Research Fellowship in Critical Antisemitism Studies, Discrimination and Human Rights at the Woolf Institute, University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on the literature of antisemitism.

At NUL Chloe teaches on a wide range of courses including Cultures of London; British Drama and the London Stage; First Year Writing Studio; Public Speaking; Creative Non-Fiction and lectures for the MA in Contemporary Creative Writing: Masterclass in Poetry. Chloe is the Faculty Coordinator for Northeastern University London Hillel, the university’s centre for Jewish life. In 2024 she was awarded an Exceptional Performance Award for her teaching and interfaith dialogue initiatives on campus.

She also works professionally as a public speaker, giving talks at universities, companies and communities across the UK and USA on topics relating to antisemitism, misogyny and language.
